Trinity is Ireland's top university founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I. It is located in the heart of Dublin’s cultural and retail district (and also home to Ireland’s most famous book, the Book of Kells). Trinity boasts talented and inquiring minds from all over the world, academic excellence, a transformative student experience, liberal education, and world-class research conducted at the frontiers of many disciplines. Famous alumni include: Oscar Wilde, Samuel Beckett, Bram Stoker, and Mary Robinson.
Dublin is Ireland’s young, vibrant, and cosmopolitan capital city with a rich heritage and history. It is a UNESCO City of Literature, the site of EU headquarters of many multinational companies, regularly voted as a safe and fun study abroad destination. Located between the mountains and the sea, there is always something new to explore. Ireland and the rest of Europe is easily accessible.
