"The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge pushes its entrants to the absolute limit of physical and mental endurance. As a proud patron of Tusk I have huge admiration for the Ambrose brothers who not only are taking on the biggest adventure of their lives, but also following in their father's footsteps and raising money for an incredible cause."

Bear Grylls

Rowing 3,000 miles from La Gomera to Antigua

We will take part in the premier event in ocean rowing. The annual race starts in early December, with up to 30 teams participating from around the world.

The Challenge

In December 2022 Louis, Felix and Finn Ambrose will attempt to row 3,000 miles from La Gomera to Antigua, in an attempt to become the first children of an Atlantic Ocean rower to compete with their fathers time. They will also become only the second trio of brothers to ever row an ocean.

They will row 2 hours on, 2 hours off, 24 hours a day for around 6 weeks and will lose 20% of their body mass whilst eating 10,000 calories a day.

Who We Are

We are three brothers from the New Forest; Louis (middle), Felix (right) and Finn (left). We have always enjoyed the outdoors and challenging ourselves, and see this as the ultimate test of physical and mental endurance. We also see this as an amazing opportunity to raise a substantial amount of money for our chosen charity.

The Charity

The boys will be rowing for Tusk, a charity focused on progressive wildlife initiatives across Africa.
